I tried to doodle the Christmas tree, but probably I had left too little polish on a brush, as it seems from a doodle.
I tried to remove extra polish using paper in order to avoid clumps of it on the nail, but something went a bit off
Are there any tips on doodle drawing to avoid excess of polish on the nail and not to overdry the brush?
Also, I found it a bit challenging to clean the brush fully after it. At least without dipping it into the acetone, but dumping it with acetone pads, while not removing polish from nails 😅 Are there any tricks for it?
Only now I thought about gloves…
Any advice is appreciated!

P.S. polish used: essie streetwear and tear (green), essie last nightie (warm pinkish slightly shining nude) and essie take me to thread for a dot on the tree top + essie good to go top

I was going to do little Christmas trees on my nails, but gave up as it was far too fiddly. Wish I’d seen this beforehand! It’s adorable and looks so easy to accomplish. Maybe next year! Great job OP!
