I get it now. I treated myself to the spinny magnet setup from Etsy, since I ordered some Fancy Gloss polishes I wasn’t over the moon with in velvet or cat eye. Nothing wrong with the polishes — they just weren’t “me.”

I prefer multicolor shifty to single color magnetics, so my plan was to wet mix Bluewood Spell and Blue Velour and see what happens, but changed course and went with Blue Velour over Bluewood Spell and this was the result.

From some angles it looks like a teal jelly (no glitter visible), from others it’s a fully glittery pale silvery blue.

Can confirm, I need to follow the fine particle magnetic tips from this sub — I would up with some flubbed individual nails, especially on my dominant hand. But I’m glad I didn’t destash these polishes before trying the glass bead. The first finger I put the Blue Velour on, when it came out of the magnet spinny, it was definitely an “ohhhhhhhh SHINY!” moment! 😂
