Hey everyone,

I mentioned earlier that I started building a small nail design app because my girlfriend is constantly thinking about nail art.

While working on it, I realized something:
most of the struggle isn’t finding designs — it’s imagining how they would actually look on your own hands.

So the app slowly turned into a few different “modes”, almost by accident.

The first one is very simple.
You just write what’s in your head. No references, no images.
Just describe the vibe, colors, or mood you’re thinking about.

Then I added another idea.
A lot of designs come from Pinterest anyway, so I thought:
what if you could take a screenshot of a design and see how it would look on your own hand?

After that, it got more specific.
Some designs look great overall, but not every finger should be the same.
So now there’s a mode where you can describe or reference each finger separately and preview it on your own hand.

And lately, I’ve been thinking about trends.
Instead of scrolling endlessly, what if you could just pick a trending style and see it applied directly to your hand?

None of this started as a “big plan”.
I’m mostly reacting to real frustrations I keep seeing.

I’m curious —
does this kind of workflow make sense to you?
Is there a step in your nail design process that still feels annoying or missing?
