Thanks, all! I didn't get to see replies until I'd already dug in (my favorite was candy cane stripes; wish I had). I acetoned off the tips as best I could and went over them in white, gotta move on, seemed fastest. Not my favorite, but at least it saves me having to harsh-acetone my whole nail twice in a week and I had reasonable confidence at it!
Base: cracked rfbc, cracked joke's on you
Green: cracked f*ck kale, gelixir 099 tropical green (lacquer variant)
White: cracked J.O.Y.
Top: essie good to go

Massive improvement, in my very humble opinion.
I actually liked the red, but I do think this is way better. Reminds me of a snow tipped Christmas tree 🙂
