I've had 2 Skinnys for about 4 years now, purchased from Ulta and Costco. One of them experienced a swollen battery about year 3. While I don't think it's common you will find others have had similar issues, u/missdewey for example.
Took it in to Costco. I wasn't expecting a refund I just wanted it out of my house due to the hazard. They refunded me and said they'd properly dispose of it. I love Costco.
The other Skinny is going strong. The brightest, clearest mirrors I've ever owned with terrific magnification. I wouldn't hesitate to get another.
I've also owned 2 Riki Cuties since 2018 from a GMA Deal. One had the plastic finger loops break within the first couple of months and Riki sent me a new one with no questions asked.
