I recently acquired Cirque Colors Fuyu Jelly in a destash (which is NOT the same as Sherbet Jelly despite what Google tried to tell me), and I thought it would be fun to combine it with my other Fuyu polish (from ANLAC). I kind of dig it!
I get terrible bubbles when I try to put ANLAC Fuyu over a jelly base, so my method is to do the jelly base one day and the magnetic the next. I don’t have a polish mountain issue despite having 9(!!) layers of polish on.
Cirque is named after the color of Fuyu persimmons, while ANLAC is named after the Japanese word for winter.
- Base: Sunflower Lacquer Milky Sap x3
- Lacquer #1: Cirque Colors Fuyu Jelly x2
- Topcoat #1: Vibrant Scents Fast & Hard x1
- Lacquer #2: ANLAC Fuyu x2, magnetized with spinning horseshoe
- Topcoat #2: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri (red bottle) x1
Any other suggestions for manicures that combine polishes from multiple brands with the same name?
