Baby Girl Lacquer peel off base, KBShimmer feeling groovy, 3x Chamaeleon Winter Retreat, BKL QDTC.
I just looove this polish. Not only is the pale green to forest green shift so seamless, but the flakes really add to the forest feels (like the brown leaves underfoot peeking out from the snow. There’s also a delicate holo running throughout that’s hard to capture but adds to the wintry twinkling icy feel.
I love thermals but with their limited shelf life, I try make sure to wear them. This is from December 2024 PPU meaning I received it January this year and I’m already halfway done with the bottle (see last shot) so I’m sure I’ll finish it soon, possibly by summer 2026. At which point I will also be super super sad. But because thermals can get pretty thick with the special pigment, I’ve added thinner twice to this polish already. I don’t mind though because I feel like it’s giving me a little more polish and letting me to increase its potential # of manis (even tho logically I know that’s just evaporated ingredients 😅).
Anyone else rocking thermals this season?

My usage progress!
Yess. Themal season is so short where I live so making the most of it.
Beautiful! I’m not always a flakie person but I really like this one.
Yessss I am a winter thermals person! I run hot so I get more shifting in the winter for sure, tho my nails are now long enough that I get the cold color on the free edge sometimes during warmer weather too.
FWIW not all thermals die super quickly – I have some 6yr old thermals that still transition perfectly! I do have some other thermals from the same time period that are completely dead though. Same storage conditions for both – in a drawer in my basement.
It really does seem like we all collectively agree that summer is for magnetics amd winter is for thermals. And you know what? I love it. Plus, I seemed to have gotten my nail-picking under control, so I actually have a nice amount of free edge
