Maybe consider letting your nails rest before throwing a full set back on? They look pretty damaged and your fingers look red 😭😭

I do this way too much. Right now, I cut them short, gel is all grown out. I cant go until Thursday or Friday also !

I’ve done this lol, fwiw I left them alone except for oiling them once or twice daily until they grew out and they were SO healthy after, took roughly 3 months to be fully grown out though 🙁

Girl! You and me both!! I have a hard time getting into the salon for fills most times and if it’s been more than 3 weeks – I gotta claw those things off otherwise they snap off at the wrong time and HURT!!
I will sometimes put on ImPress nails – the ones that already have the adhesive on them – until I can get in the salon cus my real nails are sad and ugly and have never grown very well my whole damn life. I only use the self-adhesive nails as nail glue does *not* work on my nails, no matter what tips and tricks I try to use to cure them. I am artistically challenged so am not gonna try to do my own nails like I often see in this sub. It will not be pretty.

You’re in your way to paper nails. Don’t take a break but get a gel mani and let them grow out. Get another gel mani and let those grow out. In about a month and a half you can consider extensions. But you took out chunks of your nail plate girl. Don’t do that.
