1. Maybelline baby lips moisturizing lip balm. 6/10. It’s fine I found it not very hydrating. Just so mediocre.

  2. Beekman 1802 sunshine lemon goat milk whipped body cream. 6/10. It’s a great moisturizer and it smells lovely but the scent fades so fast. Also it’s $39 for 8 ounces and I feel like there are so many better lotions out there for cheaper. I’m docking points for performance per price. But I did enjoy how fast it absorbed into the skin.

  3. Senka perfect whip cleansing beauty foam. 10/10. I will say this product is very drying but I think that’s why I loved it so much for my oily skin. It’s perfect for the summer when my face is even oilier. I bought a pack of 2 and now that I’m working on the second tube I realize for it might be too dry for the winter time so I’ve just followed up with a heavier moisturizer.

  4. Banila co clean it zero cleansing balm purifying. 7/10. I love this product and it works so well at removing all my makeup and sunscreen and product buildup. I use it in the first step of my nightly double cleanse. But I docked points because I’m so bored of it. This is the second tub I finished back to back and I’m so excited I got to leave it behind and start a different product. Just a reminder to myself to not buy multi packs going forward.

  5. Aveeno eczema therapy itch relief balm. 1/10 maybe 0. I get pretty bad eczema breakouts and was hoping I could use this in conjunction with my topical steroids so I could decrease my triamcinolone use. Unfortunately it didn’t do anything for me. It did not absorb. It was so greasy. It just sat on top of my skin. My eczema patches were still so itchy. I ended up washing it off and just applying my prescription creams instead. I ended up using it on my dry calluses on my feet and it worked to moisturize my dry heels but yeah. It advertises itself as instant itch relief that lasts and it didn’t do any that.

  6. Neutrogena ultra sheer dry touch sunscreen spf 45. 0/10. If I could give this negative stars I would. I unfortunately bought a three pack of this. It’s two down one more to go. I’m never buying this again. It does not absorb. Pills like crazy. Leaves a white cast. Smells so strongly of sunscreen. I just really really hated using it. I ended up using it on my arms and thankfully got through it pretty fast but I’m dreading just staring at the third bottle right now.

Last post of the year I think. I learned so much during my project pan and saved so much money. I’m just going to continue using what I have and finding creative uses for products I don’t like. This community has been such a good influence especially when I’m just bombarded by marketing that promotes so much consumerism. I’m going to enter the new year focusing on enjoying what I have and being more mindful of what I buy. Also just thinking of how much plastic waste my consumerism has created just kinda horrifies me.
