I passed on the JLT in #25 Blackberry because it looked a little patchy and not able to be worn as a sheer lip color but picked this up because it looked more like what I wanted in a lip product, pigmentation wise (and because I wanted free shipping on an OliveYoung order). No patchiness on application, can be used to mute your lip color if you apply a single thinner layer but looks distinctly gray with more than one layer. Definitely more gray than sheer black but that works for me. Formula feels like it should be moisturizing but isn't. Can't speak to the new JLT formula hurting my lips because I'm wearing most lip products over Blistex Lip Medex due to winter.
