Hi! have been a huge fan of nail art for a long time and always watched tutorials on youtube for Gel X nails, acrylic and such. Unfortunately, i don’t have that much money to get really good quality extensions but i am determined to practice on the affordable extensions i got until i get better and then i can invest in better equipment. Have been gathering materials for quite sometime and last night i decided to finally give it a go and do my brother’s girlfriend nails, she volunteered and knew im not skilled nor am i offering a professional service.
The result isn’t very good but also i expected it to be a lot worse lol
would like to know your recommendations, if you have any youtube tutorials that might help me improve in any particular area i would appreciate it!
The most difficult part was definitely the painting of the nails. Some turned out really thick in the end, while others looked fine. Struggled really hard to keep the gel polish from leaking into the sides of the finger. What can i do when there’s gel left in the sides?
there’s so much i wanna learn so i can do my own nails.
useful information: ℹ️ used generic extensions, and normal nail glue since we were scared of them being really bad and not being able to take them off if that was the case.
