Banila Clean It Zero in the revitalizing formula was one of the first few K-beauty items I owned. I bought this at CVS in 2019, so this jar should be in first grade lol. Around this time I was introduced to the 10-step skincare routine via from either YouTube or Allure. Honestly it was an eye opening experience because prior to this I didn’t really know what I was doing with skincare. I remember feeling this immense fascination with K-Beauty once I learned what it was. I wanted to try and buy everything I saw on Soko Glam (thankfully I only stuck to drugstore stuff lol). CVS had a pretty decent K-Beauty selection but the last time I stepped foot in one, they’ve shrunk a bit. I don’t recall them carrying Banila Co. anymore 🙁
Its been a long time since I’ve used this cleansing balm but I do remember the scent was pleasant and how thick the balm was. I remember thinking to myself how I’m just like those skincare YouTubers haha. The product itself was pretty good. It didn’t break me out and did its job removing tinted sunscreen. I believe I followed the cleansing balm up with a Pacifica cleanser. I never repurchased the cleansing balm because at the time Banila Co. was a little pricey for me. I was like 13 and used my own Lunar Year money instead of begging my mom to purchase it for me lol.
I don’t know why I kept the jar honestly. I just felt like I couldn’t just throw it away. Right now it’s serving a different use, and that’s being a container for my Bobby pins.
