In honor of Wicked: For Good’s opening weekend, I wanted to try and take on a tricky task: painting the Emerald City on my nails! I had a lot of fun with this look and loved painting on all the tiny poppy flowers, the sparkly yellow brick road, and the teeny tiny random details (Dorothy’s ruby slippers are more of the essence of ruby slippers than an accurate depiction but still 🤷🏻‍♀️😂). This design is about 95% acrylic paint and 5% polish, I used polish for the base coats and some super small details, but I was mostly relying on my diluted acrylic paint, a frayed tiny paintbrush, and a dream! 😅

Have any of you seen Wicked: For Good yet? I am so excited to see it!!! I just saw the musical again for the 4th time last month, so I’m hyped to see the new movie soon! 💚🧹

Products used:
Holo Taco: peely base, not milky white
Kbshimmer: matte top coat
Lots and lots of apple barrel and Liquitex acrylic paints!

Oh, oz. This is amazing! My favorite nail art I’ve ever seen! I can’t wait to see the second Wicked movie. My mom took me to see it on “broadway” in Chicago. I was pretty young (and fell asleep during the second act), but it was love at first sight. Wonderful job! I think you more than did it justice!
