Hello! I have been doing nail art for a few months now, and I’ve mostly been going off of other sets for inspiration. I’ve noticed that some artists will paint with the point of the nail upwards, and others paint designs with the point facing down.
Is one direction more acceptable than others?
I hope this makes sense!! I added a picture of mine and my friend’s nails that I did for Halloween. I (unintentionally) did our art in opposite directions. What do you think?

Personally I’m paying for my nails, I’m looking at them everyday, I want them to face me. I think it’s also dependent on the art itself. Sometimes it looks better one way than the other.
