I recently did a small haul at Olive Young and mostly focused on restocking my K-Beauty staples: cleansers, skincare, and sun protection. First off, I'm a huge fan of Korean sheet masks using them once or twice a week is my favorite way to keep my skin feeling super plump and hydrated.
Cleanser
- Isntree Onion Newpair Cleansing Foam
This foam worked really well even for my sensitive skin, and I think it's particularly great for oily skin. It has great cleansing power but doesn't feel drying at all. If I only wore sunscreen, this is my single cleanse, but if I wore makeup, I always double cleanse with a balm first and then follow up with this foam.
Face Sheet Masks
- BIODANCE Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask Sheet
- Primera Vitatinol Serum Mega-Shot Gel Mask Sheet
- MEDIHEAL Madecassoside Essential Mask Sheet
The BIODANCE mask is interesting because it’s an overnight mask that peels off! It is very hydrating, but I haven't noticed any dramatic lifting or pore results yet. I'm planning on using it twice a week for deep hydration.
The Primera mask gives an immediate glow and hydration. It feels quite refreshing, not greasy or heavy. Right after taking it off, my skin instantly looks brighter.
The MEDIHEAL one is my top recommendation for a true daily mask. It’s incredibly calming when my skin feels hot or irritated, and it's hydrating yet light, never heavy.
Essence / Cream
- VT PDRN Essence 100
- AESTURA Atobarrier 365 Hydro Soothing Cream
For essence, I grabbed the VT PDRN Essence 100. I've been wanting to try this one! It leaves my skin feeling noticeably hydrated and soft. It has great moisturizing properties, making it an excellent choice for the cold winter months.
For cream, I picked up the AESTURA Atobarrier 365 Hydro Soothing Cream. This is my ideal day cream. It’s a soothing cream that might be a bit light for my nighttime routine, but it's wonderfully hydrating and not irritating at all when used during the day.
Sunscreen
- Beauty of Joseon Matte Sun Stick
This sun stick is truly suited for oily skin! The best part is how easy it is to carry around and reapply throughout the day. However, it kinda peels off if you put too much on. Because of its matte finish, it’s best to use this one in the hot summer.
