First magnetic mani 🔮

I recently ordered my first magnetic polishes (mooncat) after learning that magnetics aren’t exclusive to gel manis! I was so happy because gel is not only a horrible time and money suck, but it’s so bad for your nails. I’d get a gel mani like once a year and I loved how it looked, but it really wasn’t worth it.

Anyway, I am sooo happy with 1) how easy this is to do; and 2) how pretty all the colors are! I currently have mooncat Clair de lune on my toes and it’s exquisite. I did glass bead on my toenails (good place to practice lol) and I can’t stop looking at them.

In this post is my first attempt at a magnetic mani:

Mooncat hardcore base coat
Mooncat 404: soul not found
Mooncat speed demon top coat

Magnetized with the free wand they send you, held it above nail for ~60 seconds after second coat and top coat. Thanks to all those in this sub who’ve posted tips and techniques. Happy with my new hobby!
