it just took some pats and very little product. i'm not allergic and i don't have sensitive skin. but the amount of whiteheads is scary. just a reminder that what works for everyone won't work for you. 1st picture is the before, 2nd is immediate after, 3rd is 2 days later. 🫩 now i have a full bottle of this I'm hesitant to gift anyone and discarding feels like a waste. should I even give it another try?

  1. for products that don’t work for my face, I use them on other parts of my body – and depending on how bad the reaction was, where it gets used gets farther from the face. given how severe your reaction was, I would consider using it on dry, rough spots like elbows and heels, which are pretty unlikely to react, and then layer a good moisturizer on top with gloves or socks to lock it all in. at best, it helps with getting more of the moisture into your skin, and at worst, it’ll probably do nothing. of course if you’re still hesitant, I would do the tiniest dab to check first before slathering it on.

sorry to hear what it did to your skin, and hope it settles down soon!

  2. I love Reddleshot, it makes my skin feel so soft and smooth. I kept using it every single day, and that’s when my barrier got totally broken. Every time I get too aggressive with it, my skin freaks out and gets sensitive. It’s a good call to just put the Reddleshot on pause and pamper your barrier with a gentle moisturizing cream when things get irritated.
