I did one round of gel polish in late May, and hated how damaged my nails looked so I began painting them myself. Base coat, two color coats, a top coat and then a final coat of Seche Vite. They would last 6-7 days and I’d redo. But after so many months they just looked trashed. I cut them down last week, but they are so dry and have all of these white spots on them. I don’t think I at all that it’s fungal, but it looks terrible. I want to repaint because they’re embarrassing. Thoughts on what to do next?
