In this video I'm using Radioactive by ILNP – I wanted to see if it would work as well as Silent Scream, and it does!

As you can see, I magnetized the nail for about 20 – 30 seconds with slow steady rotations. There's no difference in outcome between spinning it fast vs slow that I've observed, as long as you're quick enough to get the circle started before it dries.

It doesn't look like much immediately afterwards – just a tiny little dot – but the fun part of this technique is that the natural disperal/settling of the magnetic pigment will work in your favor! That tiny pinprick dot will spread out into a nice-sized glowy aura-like circle over the next 10 or so minutes after magnetizing, which is part of why I don't worry about magnetizing for super long, either (I do still magnetize top coat though – I use a pretty cheap topcoat so it still disperses, for better or for worse). It's pretty neat 😁

Thank you! Your description seemed like this was the technique, but it’s so nice to confirm with a video. It’s great to be able to try the glass bead technique without needing a special setup.
