Before any foundation, a good base is everything! Simple, hydrating pre-makeup skincare is key to making makeup go on smoothly and last longer. After trying a lot of products, hereâs my 4-step routine that works for a glowy, flawless finish.
â¨Step 1: ăTorriden Dive-In Multi Padă
This toner pad is designed for hydration and soothing. The round shape makes it easier to reach areas prone to patchiness or where foundation tends to cake. The pads are used like a mini sheet mask for 3 to 5 minutes, helping to calm and moisturize the skin. Afterward, gently swipe across the T-zone to remove excess oil.
â¨Step 2: dăâAlba White Truffle Mistă
After testing a lot of mists, this one is perfect! It has a water-oil separation formula that doesnât dry out the skin. The mist is super fine and lightweight, with Damask rose water, white truffle extract, and vitamin E, leaving a nice subtle glow. Shake well and spritz all over the face. Toner is not needed afterward.
â¨Step 3: ăTorriden Dive-In Soothing Creamă
The cream has a soft, airy texture that melts into water on the skin. It absorbs quickly, hydrates deeply, and works perfectly as a base before makeup. Apply all over the face, layering slightly on areas where foundation tends to cake.
â¨Step 4: ăBOJ Revive Ginseng Eye Serumă
The under-eye area needs more hydration. This serum is silky and lightweight while still nourishing. Skip eye shadow is planned in the area. It nourishes the skin and helps prevent fine lines or concealers from creasing.
These four steps are my go-to for prepping the skin before makeup. Theyâre simple, hydrating, and really help foundation apply evenly with a nice glow. Totally recommend trying them if you want that glowy look!
