I went to get gels done yesterday with another tech at the same salon since my tech didn't have available times.
Aside from the nail art being a bit wonky and the cats eyes leaking, my main issue is that they felt slightly uncured. I was able to scratch off a bit of the black polish which I don't think should be able to happen? When looking closely there were these tiny holes as well. I went to another salon near by to get them redone because I did not want to have any uncured gel on my nails.
This was a pretty reputable place so I'm surprised they turned out like this. Is it ok to ask for a refund? I hate complaining but these aren't up to standard right?

I was gonna say no just from the pic but when said uncured product, yes I would ask. I mean worst they can say is no.
I would definitely ask – they will probably offer to redo it over considering a refund, judging by salon policies that I’ve seen and experiences I’ve read about on here. Be prepared to find a new salon though, I had a regular salon for about 10 years & the first time I raised that something needed redoing, something very minor at that, they were *so* rude to me! So I never went back 😄 But definitely try to get this design done again somewhere – it’s so cute! 🐈⬛
