Firstly, I am a horrible reviewer. I genuinely can’t tell what items last long so this is my trashy review of the lippies I have. I feel like I’m always disappointed with the lippie colours no matter how much I research and the choices on the market are so overwhelming. I’m still on the look for a muted hydrating lip gloss with no plumping feeling to it. I think after trying out a bunch of lip tints I realised I definitely need to layer a lip essence or balm on top of it otherwise my lips will dry out (and in doing so, it usually separates or removes the tint so I might as well just get a more hydrating focused lippie). I’m most interested in fwee 30% cherry cola, entropy gloss, laka fruit glam (or their other lippies) (and this is really niche but any lippies that has a slight cool tone brown colour to it like glossier’s ultra lip in crest) so if anyone could recommend me I’d be grateful!
MLBB shade is romand breeze fig and odd grape but as much as I would like to defend it, I do feel like it dries or exfoliates my lips after a few hours of wearing. I always exfoliate my lips before using lippies but I think my lips genuinely need a more hydrating formula.
Unfortunately that’s the only picture I have of all my swatches (I took it a few months ago at night but will be happy to take more if anyone needs). And the colours on that picture do not look correct lol.
I really like the colour of dasique’s fruity lip jujube jam but unfortunately it being in a pot makes it messy to use when I’m out. It is hydrating but does dry out within a few hours.
Nuse isn’t my favourite. Super watery formula, weird smell. Honestly my fault because I thought I bought Haze Beige but got Cool Babe.
I was told dinto’s ave maria is nothing like the swatch. It’s a lot more vibrant pastel-ish purple lilac and is wayy too cool toned for me. And for some reason the product in the bottle it looks like it’s separated or expired. I bought it at a bic camera store 5 months ago but I still use it😭.
Cipicipi azuki pudding is nice and looks most similar to romand’s balm veiled rose- definitely the pinkiest of my lippies. The balm is thick but I don’t really mind it. I just make sure the turn it all the way back into the applicator to avoid a mess.
I finished a romand dim mauve gloss a year ago and bought another so I’m guessing I liked it. I’ll open it when I finish a lippie but project pan is not going well.
