Morphe 35M Boss Mood Artistry Palette
——This palette was one of my first eyeshadow buys in 2020. Wow it was ridiculous when I had no makeup skills to buy all these eyeshadow colors 😭. After seeing people repurpose extra shadows for liners and cosplay type things, I decided to keep it tucked away for now versus decluttering.
Beauty Bakerie Coffee & Cocoa “Bronzer” Palette
——This “bronzer” palette (from around 2018) is another one from my no-skill era, but isn’t it way more shimmer and highlight than actual bronzer? I used to swipe it on my cheeks and eyes without much rhyme or reason. One highlighter completely shattered on me too while traveling.
ColourPop Super Shock Cheek in Avalon
——And my forever fave, the colourpop highlighter. I’ve had it since 2018 and only recently realized it’s way expired by now, but I still use it because it just hits. It’s been my go-to for both full glam and my clean natural looks, and I haven’t let it go yet.
MAC Viva Glam Silky Matte Lip, shade Viva Equality
———The mac lipstick is a holy grail and she really complements a deep skin tone. I use it regularly, and last December it snapped off on vacation and was devasted. I cut off the part that touched the ground and put it back in the applicator, it was wobbly for months but now it’s like it never happened 😭🤣.
I’m still learning how to really do makeup properly, but rediscovering some of these has been surprisingly fun. Every little dent and pan tells a story! 💕
