Hey! I keep seeing news that the uk might get rid of the current rule where overseas parcels under £135 don’t get charged customs/duty when they arrive. Supposedly it’s being aimed at companies like temu, but I’m wondering if it could affect all the k/j-beauty we order from places like stylewvana, yesstyle, jolse, etc?

Like… if we order a cleanser from hong kong or korea that’s worth £20, will customs/vat fees start being added on top once it gets to the uk?

Just curious if anyone understands what this change would mean, will prices go up? Or is it more of a “wait and see” situation?

I haven’t seen many people talking about it yet, are you worried or nah?
