So I had to come on and squee a bit about the absolutely stunning glasslike sheen of Glitch Lacquer’s Smokescreen magnetic in her Dark Academia collection. This is two coats, with the second coat done in glass bead using a magnetic stirrer cranked on high because that’s how I roll.
If I hadn’t JUST done a new mani last night, this would be an immediate contender for my nails right now (between that and Anlac, of which I’ll post a pic in the comments.)
Look, I don’t have the infamous Bog Dweller yet, but I do have It Happens and this is just as gorgeously smooth and shiny…and no streaks or brush strokes. Just pure mirror shine magic.
Hats off to u/breedecatur for some serious magic. I am going to jelly sandwich this thing so hard in an upcoming manicure 🤣

I also just finished swatching Anlac’s Precious One Collection (Fuyu in pink, Haru in mint, Aki in lilac, and Natsu in blue), and the magnetics are so gorgeously soft with a beautiful luminous silver glow. The hint of an oh so fine shimmer to each is just a chef’s kiss. Done in two coats, with second magnetized in glass bead using a magnetic stirrer.
Violet’s magnetics are gorgeous and scratch that inner grumble I had over missing out this past weekend on some others. This is going to be the best winter skittle ever 🤩

smokeshow is one of my faaaaaaaves to use under jellies. smoke + Cirque bitten looks like crystal balls.
