Was going through my budgeting app to decide whether to buy a piece of furniture. Re-labeled some expenses and this happened. Biggest expenses are at the top 🤦♀️ thought some of yall might be able to relate 😅This isn’t meant to brag about nail polish budget or say that I spent my food money on polish. I knew I was spending a lot b/c of the fall releases. When I buy things like yarn or polish or Starbucks, I know some people think it’s a stupid use of money, but it makes me happy 😊

Listen, I got into nail polish when I was recovering from surgery & at my sickest. It kept me sane & literally upright some days.

Yeah, I went on an uncharacteristic spree for the last month or so, partly because of the Golden Hour Rodeo collection release from Tyler’s Trinkets and kbShimmer’s fall collection this year 🫠 Plus having Holo Taco points to burn gave me an excuse to load up a little lol. OP, what fall releases got you, I’m curious

It’s okay. “Fun money” is a thing for a reason, you know? Contrary to popular belief, a healthy budget should include an allowance for fun, enjoyable things.
Putting in an extra section of your budget for things like entertainment or personal enjoyment can actually really help prevent impulse spending, and on top of that, it supports mental well being, it reduces stress.
