    1. [ again, please ignore the makeup, i only ever remember to take these photos at the end of the day when it’s 10 hours old and on the brink of melting off… ]

      brand ; OLENS

      pattern ; SCANDI

      shade ; OLIVE

      g.dia ; 11.9mm

price ; USD29 for 2 pairs of monthlies

lighting ; direct or indirect evening sunlight

for reference, i have east asian eyes in classic dark brown (visibly peeking through the lens near the pupil) with iris diameter of ~13mm.

scandi olive is a beautiful muted dark olive lens with a brown blending near the pupil; the effect is extremely natural and leans subtle, adding depth and a tint rather than dramatic colour change which makes it easy to wear on the daily. at 11.9mm, it’s not an enlarging lens but instead intends to allow part of your natural iris to peek out at the edges, creating a limbal ring (hence the starkness and width of the limbal ring depends on the size of your own iris). while i personally prefer a bit more colour and size, this lens is honestly growing on me – it’s just so charming and dreamy but in the softest subtlest je ne sais quoi way.

the lens itself is easy to use and very comfy. ive worn this lens for up to 11 hours straight so far (not recommended, but just fyi…) and while it was a little dry on removal, i never felt it in my eyes throughout the day.

      [scandi grey](https://www.reddit.com/r/AsianBeauty/s/qduGn8CGdz) for reference.
