Pictured here is Lost Berry. I ordered this polish because I loved the transition to red. What I got does not transition to red at all. I’ve never been this disappointed with a nail polish order before 😫
First 3 pictures are from Cirque’s website. The rest are swatches I did on my index and middle finger. I am running quite cold at the moment but I also ran my index finger under hot water to get the lighter color.
I left las week’s mani on my ring and pinky. Coincidentally, I wore red, and thought it would be good to have as a color comparison.
I’ve already emailed Cirque stating I’d like to return this and the charms. I did see a note that they do not accept returns, so I’m not sure that email will actually get anywhere. We’ll see…

I’ll be honest, to a certain degree some inaccuracy is inevitable. Cameras don’t work like human eyes and colour on screen varies wildly by device, camera, lighting, contrast. If it’s wildly off fair enough, but truth be told you’re never going to find pics that match IRL perfectly. It’s a technical limitation with how cameras and screens work.
The other post where they showed more product then you actually got though is a slam dunk, agreed
Ugh, I’ve learned to check pics from the review (always the most true) or influencers before purchasing b/c they go too hard on manipulating product shots and I really don’t know why. It could also be a bum batch. I hope they honor a return for you…
i saw your other post earlier and couldn’t believe the edited swatch photos someone posted in the comments. i then opened insta and they were the first ones on my feed. i actually unfollowed lmao. i’ve always thought about maybe ordering from them but never have, and probs never will now
I had this issue with Cirque too. I ordered a nude shade and it did NOT look as advertised – they did honor my return but I definitely felt a hint of annoyance. It’s like, how bout you make your photos more realistic and then people won’t waste your time/money with returns!
I dont have any Cirque and these kinds of posts (there are a lot!) turn me off from trying them. They really need to stop the deceptive photos. Some variation from marketing photos is normal but theirs seem blatantly misleading.
Yeah I just received an order from cirque of two polishes and one of my colors was close enough to their photos to feel like normal screen to RL variation (Marsala jelly, very pretty!) and the other color felt way way way off to me. (Lavender sky, which looks to be a more pink leaning lavender on their site and what I received is almost a greyish? lavender)
Their official photos are really misleading… I thought I was being careful by checking a swatch video before ordering a bunch of jellies a couple weeks ago, but the Lime Jelly looks much more like a Kelly green than a lime green to me. Which is super annoying because I also just got F*ck Kale from Cracked and I definitely duped myself here lol.
They’re website description even uses the word red multiple times, I’d feel deceived too. I think the only thing to do is people to return shades that aren’t as advertised enough to impact the bottom line. That seems to be the only reason a company does anything these days, though I know of other boutique and indie brands that would fall out of their chairs to remedy this if it was their product.
