I NEVER purchase magnetics because of the two (2) I have in my collection, I never ever reach for them😂 I absolutely love how they look I just cannot justify the time it takes me to do a magnetic manicure, ESPECIALLY cat eye. I’m a perfectionist when it comes to my nails and also impatient, which is a bad combo for cat eye magnetic manis…. This was further proven to me last night🙃
I won the Rest in Polish collection from Cracked’s IG giveaway, which I am so so excited about! This is the first one I tried because as soon as I saw the swatches, it was on my wishlist (magnetic hatred aside). It looked so beautiful in the cat eye style from the swatches I had seen, and although I HATED doing this mani, it really is a gorgeous polish. It has definitely reaffirmed for me that I will NOT be purchasing anymore magnetics, but I’m very happy to have this be the last one I add to my collection!! I can’t wait to try the rest of this collection 🙂
To keep this tangent going, I think the cat eye style is especially hard for me bc every nail turns out looking different. Magnetizing all 10 nails for multiple minutes each, and then inevitably messing up between 1 and 3 nails from bumping them with the magnet and having to redo them sent me into a rage last night👹 but they sure r pretty.

My “shortcut” for doing magnetics is first doing a coat or two of a jelly with the same base color as the magnetic, and then just doing one coat of the magnetic. I still have to do two rounds of magnetizing (one for the magnetic coat, one for the top coat) but it saves 15-30 mins.
Ghoul’s Garden is stunning on you, congrats on winning the giveaway!
