So I just had a dozen new polishes arrive from Cracked a few days ago. Just got around to swatching them last night, and three of them turned out like this: Crimson Ecstasy, Vampiric Vanity, and Fool Me One Coat.

It doesn't look quite like the other pics of bubbles I see online, and I applied all of them exactly the same, without having shaken any of them. This wasn't present from what I recall when it was wet, but this is how it dried. Super small uniform bumps. Feels and looks like sandpaper. Are these just tiny air bubbles or actual particles that are standing out after self leveling finished?

Pic 1 is Crimson Ecstasy, Pic 2 is Vampiric Vanity. Fool Me One Coat not shown because it was hard to see.

It’s probably sparse glitter that doesn’t quite show up qell because the color is too dark/opaque

  2. I have Vamped Vanity and it does dry down textured due to the glitters in my experience. I don’t think the raised spots here look uniform, but it may be my eyeballs.

It doesn’t look that textured for me, but I also shake all polish before I use it, so that could be a factor?🤷🏾‍♀️ Either way, shaking it up before use, some glittle smoother or two coats of top coat would not hurt.

Agree that it’s glitter. You can gently buff the surface to reveal more glitter and then top coat if you’re into that kind of thing.

I don’t remember my vamped vanity being textured like that, but I did quickly follow it up with a thick quick dry top coat and it didn’t really fully dry down before I did that. It is actually one of my favorites of the colors I’ve gotten from them.

Oh weird!  I would especially not expect Fool me one coat to have lumps! (No glitter)  I just got one too.  I’ll swatch later today and report if mine got bumpy at all.
