This is Ghoul In Japan, I discovered her from this sub two weeks ago and got through all her videos. Not going to lie I do like her aesthetic, however her makeup recommendations hit very… not goth. Like, her 'cool toned' lipsticks all pull freaking warm and orange on my neutral skin.

She also just came out with her palette. It's supposed to be a goth palette. However I just think it's very… I don't know? Is the goth supposed to be in the room with us? Like, to each their own but when I'm buying a goth palette I want it to be very cool and grungey. Like, that bright canary shade could have been more sap-green. And that red just looks so warm even in the swatches, more 'Christmas lights' than 'Urban Decay Gash'…. all in all, it reminds me of those old Norvina square palettes (Norvina (3?) In the fall theme to be exact). Again, if you like it that's good but I just think that marketing this as goth is very misleading.

It leans more punk to me, which is cool! She has a very loyal following so I think her palette will sell well, which good for her I hope it does, but it does lean a bit bright
