Skin type: very dry, sensitive, 30s, 50-80% humidity throughout the day
Price: $38 USD for 120g. I didnt buy the full size. I used 5 sample freebies from buying the $50 trial set.
Review: 5/5. Would splurge for the full size. Im hoping its a lot cheaper in Japan. The description on the Albion website claims to "thoroughly sweeps away impurities deep within the skin while also removing factors that cause dryness and roughness, polishing the skin to a moist, smooth, and clear finish." I agree 100%. Normally I find most cleansers to be too harsh and stripping or too gentle and does not clean well. This is a perfect combo of clean and soft. A day of skincare, sweat, oil, and sunscreen, plus a little eyebrow pencil were all washed off. It's been 30 minutes since I washed my face, and my skin remains soft and smooth. No sign of drying or tightness.
Also, I dont get why they call it a gel foam. Its just your most typical normal cleanser texture. Kinda similar to the Senka whip cleanser.
Scent: Like a rich middle age lady scent? but not hanbang scent like Sulwhasoo products.
Side note for Americans: Albion has a store-cafe in LA, CA. If you are willing to splurge on Sulwhasoo and Chanel-level of pricing, then Albion is a good alternative to try out if youre local. They also stock a little bit of Paul & Joe and Anna Sui makeup. Their matcha latte is meh.
Ranking cleansers Ive tried: (List copied from an older post reviewing Roundlab Dokko Cleanser, which btw I reviewed 9 months ago, and finished up last month)

- BLab matcha cleanser – OG version
- Hazeline strawberry cleanser (random cleanser in Vietnam that I fell in love with and cant find in America)
- Round Lab 1025 Dokko cleanser

Thanks for the review! I’m heading to Japan soon so it’s perfect timing for me to find new products to try. I also really enjoyed the old blab matcha cleanser and I’m curious to see how my skin would find this.
