I have recently started going to get my nails done and I have been keeping my nails pretty neutral because I don’t want to be a bother, but I found this design and was wondering if it would be doing too much to ask?

  1. I’m still a baby tech and not perfected techniques yet but I’d be totally willing to give that one a go

  2. Those are soo cute!!!
There is a difference between a nail tech and a nail artist. A nail artist would need to do this set. Show this pic to who you usually go to and ask if it’s something they can do or if there’s a local nail artist they recommend.
When I started getting my nails done, I didn’t want to be a bother either and kept it simple. But I recently started getting designs and the nail artist is so sweet and said she has fun doing them! 🙂

  3. The little ghost is so cute! Imo It’s always worth a shot to ask if the person you’re going with can do the nail art you want. But I’d try to ask before the appointment so they can tell you if that’s within their skillset or what in the design they can adjust to. Also, in case they need to practice a technique or hunt down material they might not have.

  4. Keep in mind some techs may not be able to do an exact copy of the picture. I show my tech a picture and then let them tell me what they can do with their skill somewhere along the lines. When I let people do what they are comfortable with and good at, they tend to look better!

Of course there are limits. Every tech is going to have a different skill set. One might be more comfortable with 3D art, one might be better at ombres, one might be great at hand painted nail art. You have to find the tech that suits your nail needs.
