Top: JSM Cushion foundation in Medium
Bottom: JSM Cushion foundation in N-light
I bought the top one in Medium shade (for summer) back in January 2025 from Costco thinking it was with Korean formulation spf. This is the first time I’m trying a cushion foundation. I liked it and how it blurred/smoothen everything. The only issue I have was it was a bit tacky, even after powdering and setting.
So decided to purchase a lighter shade for winter (when I’m pale) in late August with Olive Young before the tariff hit, which is the bottom, N-Light.
Upon receiving my item, I noticed the titles are different. Top one (medium shade) says “Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF”, while the bottom (N-light) one says “SPF50+ / PA+++”. So I had to open the newly purchased one immediately. What a difference in the finish of the formula! It’s not tacky (sticky) like the one I purchased through Costco. Also, there’s a stronger scent with it than the one I just recently purchased. I’m so disappointed.
Just want to point out to anyone who’s thinking about purchasing the Jung Saem Mool cushions foundation with SPF from any retailer in USA, there’s a difference on how it dries down and scent.
