Hi!
I'm darker-skinned (MAC NC42, about-face MD1 Neutral) and I'm looking for a matte, pinky red lip product.
Lip products I currently use are: the NYX Fat Oil Lip Drip in shade Losing Cone-trol, which comes out a deep reddish pink; and MOB Beauty's Soft Matte Lipstick in 166 (the dried blood shade) which looks deep red, close to brown.
I love the look of this product from INTO YOU in N101, but I am not sure if the shade would match me despite the site disclaimer (there's no darker skin swatch). Site calls this shade a "balanced flushed red suitable for every skin tone", but the model is very pale, so I am unsure.
I am wondering if these shades really do work on anyone like the site claims? Is this a brand whose claim I can trust in this regard? If not, what are some good under $20 products I could try for a similar effect on my skin tone?
