I use those gummy sticky tabs to attach press on to my nails and they last about 2 weeks. However after a few days my hair starts getting snagged between the press-on and my nails on the cuticle side when I wash or tie up my hair. I think it might be because the sticky tabs shift a little and create a gap there?

Any tips on how to prevent this from happening? 😭 I love the tabs but i hate the feeling of getting my hair caught.

I don’t have an answer for your actual question but, I have to know, what tabs are you using or how do you get them to last that long? I put some on today for the first time and already lost a nail.

    2. Ugh, I hate that. Can’t think of a fix once they’re on though. Might help to file the edges before application if you didn’t do that.

A light coating of liquid bandage or a clear polish over the exterior of your sticky bits may help reduce hair tangling, but I couldn’t say if that would extend or reduce the life of the sticky tabs.

Don’t stick them right against your cuticles, glue them just a bit up from the cuticle. Just be careful not to touch skin.

Do you have any problem with them sitting too high? Any time I use the double-sided tabs the press-ons sit high (almost like they are floating) and so I always get hair caught.
