Sharing these toners and mists because they're new! I've been using Hada Labo toners for the last 10 years, and one day I just thought I'd pick up one of the new releases displayed in-store (life-changing!).
I don't have troubled skin so I only ever used toner to hydrate after using a foaming cleanser, but I was fascinated by these new toners. Except for the hada labo and innisfree that I got in-store, I got all of these during OY's summer sale and Qoo10's megasale recently so I got them for a fraction of their retail price.
💦TONERS
Hada Labo Gokujyun, 8/10:
I've had this bottle for a long time 😂 I would have rated it 10 before trying all these other ones, but now it's retired to an 8 simply because all it really offers is hydration. I have the thick Shirojyun in it now, which I've been using on my body, but the original light Gokujyun is still my favorite!
VT TX-Toning Toner, 10/10:
The most recent one I've opened to replace the Tirtir one. I haven't used it enough to have a solid opinion honestly, but it's very simple: it's a light, watery toner that promises to brighten dull skin. I love the texture, not oily or greasy, no irritation. It's just what I needed it to be so I give it a 10 because I like the packaging 💅🏼
Nature Republic Aze+Pair Balancing Toner, 10/10:
I wanted to try anything Azelaic Acid so I got this and the serum on the same line, which was scented, and I'm a sucker for scented skincare. This one isn't scented, but I love the texture for the summer. Azelaic acid is only 1%, but I like that it has other nice ingredients as well. Love it, I've been using it every night.
Tirtir Vita-Glutathione 3x Toner, 10/10:
Had to put this away because it was putting my other products out of their jobs 😝 It has little suspended drops of vitamin and glutathione essence, and it's very moisturizing for a toner. I'm still enjoying using the serums I just got, so I replaced this with a lighter toner. However, I'm looking forward to taking this traveling, which it seems perfect for in this summer weather. It has a faint lemon scent which I think would be nice to use on the body too.
Innisfree Retinol Green Tea PDRN Skinbooster Toner, 10/10:
This was the first toner that I picked up, but now it's exclusively used by my boyfriend. I got it with the serum and I think it's a nice looking set for a guy. He runs a lot under the sun, but after 2 months of using it, I see a huge difference, especially in his fine lines! But now he says he's too pale 😂 I'm skeptical of how effective PDRN actually is topically, but this one is made from green tea so I guess it should have benefits either way.
💨MISTS
PROBIODERM 3D Lifting Cream Mist, 10/10:
Obsessed with this little thing! I love the slightly creamy, clean, no-scent scent this has, impossible to describe. I love holding the bottle, love that it's reusable and the mister is great too. What is 3D Lifting? I have no idea, and I don't care to know. It's perfect for when I want some hydration without having to touch my face. It's light, but does the job perfectly.
Floradora Calming Island Mist, 9/10:
This smells AMAZING, easily the best smelling and most uniquely scented skincare I have. My boyfriend said it smelled like coconuts, which is funny, but to me it does have a marine and woody smell, with a strong herbal note. Knocking a point off because I had a very faint feeling of itch when I used it, but I need to test it more. Love the packaging.
D'Alba mists:
I got these to give as gifts, so I have no opinion on them besides the smell: pink is floral rosy, yellow is floral citrus, and the blue one is aqua cool. I'm very curious to try the pink one if it ever goes on sale. DO NOT get the blue one and expect it to smell like the other two because I couldn't smell it at all.
You can tell from the pictures, I've only used these products for a month or so, so I might rate them 10 but can't really speak to their effectiveness. I'm happy as long as they don't break me out and feel good!
