This isn't something I really have ever thought about until I got my most recent addition to my routine, a snail mucin toner from farm skin! I bought it on a whim at TJ Maxx looking at what skincare products/tools they had, and decided to why not try it. I've used toners before but never felt like they did any real good to my routine but THIS is magic in a bottle for me!
With otherwise perfect skin I'd been dealing with stubborn acne/uneven texture (albeit minor) around my jawline for months and nothing I did seemed to get rid of it. Once I felt like I had it under control my period would make hormonal acne in this area flare all over again. But once I began using this toner, the uneven texture around my jaw practically vanished in a matter of days. I was floored!
What was even more surprising to me was that searching it up I can hardly find this product, let alone the brand anywhere. I know that Peach & Lily's snail mucin toner is what's been trending for a while, but still with the results I've had I was so surprised this product wasn't more popular.

I just saw this brand start popping up at my tj’s! I’ve only tried the green color correcting cushion and I’m obsessed. Will definitely keep an eye out for this.
Dr Jart V7 toning bright cream – my skin looks smoother and brighter as soon as i apply it! it’s the only thing i stock up on, i have like 4 extra and the only moisturizer i ever splurge on
AHC Aqualuronic cream was my favorite and I was using it for a while since 2018 but can’t find it anywhere now 🙁
