Many of the K-beauty products that are trendy internationally are from mid-tier and affordable brands.
Internationally, K-beauty is known for its mid-priced and affordable brands.
This phrase indicates that the majority of the K-beauty brands gaining international popularity are not familiar to Korean consumers.

I don’t like mass-market Korean products that they try to push on us in bulk. From this list, my favorites are Hera and Whoo. Especially the Hera Signia series and The History of Whoo Bichup. I periodically buy eye creams and essences from these brands, and also, OHUI has very high-quality and lightweight SPFs.
Mid-tier and affordable don’t mean low quality. If it works, it works.
Many, if not most, trendy western products are also from mid-tier and affordable brands. We rarely see high-end and luxury western products get recommended on skincare subs.
If you find a product that works for you after ages and ages of testing different ones, would you throw it away because it’s not luxury enough?
