Received: it was put behind our car so I’m not entirely sure when I received it, my partner found it this week 🤣 The UK side of the shipping is variable as to what company is used. I presume it arrived between 13th and 16th November. Thankfully it was very well wrapped and no damage despite the heavy rain this week!!

**Hyobidam Fermented cream**

This cream was the reason for the purchase. Whilst the jar is beautiful, a full size cream is $48.75 and two of these sets is less than half that plus you get all the extras! And a squeezy tube rather than a jar, which I prefer in any case, as it saves me having to find a spatula.

The cream is delightful, thick to spread but dries very well to a smooth, non-sticky finish. Perfect for dry skin 💕

I’ve used several Sooryehan creams now and this is best, although if your skin isn’t dry, it would probably be too heavy. I used the Sooryehan Bon Firming cream as my night cream when I had combination skin and that was ideal for me.

Hanbang fragrance, a bit earthier than other hanbang products I’ve tried with typical herbal notes, and a much nicer fragrance than the toner and emulsion from the same line.

Despite the shea butter, which breaks me out, this one only breaks out my nose so I just don’t apply it there. Whereas the Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask broke out my cheeks, too.

Odile says this has been a bestseller since it was launched in 2007 and that it’s the only cream she considers as good as The History of Whoo. And for me, I’d say it’s better than the Whoo cream I’ve tried (Gongjinhyang Seol Radiant White) but that’s a lower end Whoo line and also it’s more lightweight so despite it being excellent, it’s too light for me as a last step.

**Hyobidam Water-spring cream**

This is a gel cream that’s lightweight but still moisturising. Although it has shea butter, the shea is towards the bottom of the list and it spreads like a typical gel cream, very light.

The fragrance is light and refreshing, herbal but not heavy.

I first tried this cream on my neck, which is sensitive, and it did fine as long as I didn’t use other fragranced products but then that’s always the case with my neck – too much fragrance can be irritating for it.

I didn’t try it on my face because I was avoiding shea butter when I first ordered samples of it a year ago, but now I have drier skin, shea butter is essential!

I’m going to use this as my day cream in spring, I don’t think it will be heavy enough for winter and also I have plenty of my former night cream, the Sooryehan Bon Firming cream, to use as a day cream now.

*I’ll post a follow up when I try the Ginseng essence and I’m not trying the masks because I don’t really like sheet masks, those will be gifted to my cousin*
