As a south Asian with NC40 skin and two toned lips, only ONE lipstick I found is “nude” on my skin color and it’s Mac’s taupe.
I’m trying so hard to find an AB dupe for this, but everything seems to be a shade of pink!! I’m not too surprised because I understand the market caters towards paler people, but I’m sure one exists out there!!

can’t think of anything but since mocha mousse is trending this year, i’m hoping companies will bring out the browns and nudes!!
No, there are some pretty brown tone colours out there now. Are you looking for matte or glossy finish?
Daisy Doll Matte Lipstick in BR-01 Ganache Bomb might be up your alley, but I will say it’s not the brownest brown. It’s a pretty 90s brown on me. It’s kind of sheer but very buildable and comfy on the lips despite being called a “matte” lipstick. Sorry I don’t have the MAC to compare but here’s a layered swatch on my hand in indirect sunlight (I’m light-medium, neutral-cool).
