It started as a hole at the bottom of my nail and I have a bad habit of biting and picking my nails so the hole got bigger.
Then there were little areas of my nail that were completely coming off until this point in the picture where there is only little nail left. The thing is that it doesn’t hurt particularly bad I am just worried it won’t grow back.

You mostly jist need to leave it alone I fear. It was probably some damage from a bump against something hard but it’s been made worse. If you manage to fully leave it alone I’d expect it to come back but thay will take a few months.
I suggest seeing a medical professional to confirm underlying cause and proper treatment.
