I saw these brown markings before opening the wrapper. Upon opening, I saw that the packet's interior was stained (last photo) and the bar itself wasn't looking too good. I searched online but can't find a single thing about this. I've never used this product before, I don't know if it's supposed to have no smell.

this post shows a newly opened pyunkang yul bar soap that appears… rusty? No idea what that is, and yeah everything is in the caption but an Auto mod bot told me I had to comment with a description. not sure what else to describe!

    2. No idea tbh. Could it be water or humidity damage on the packaging?

I would probably just scrape the outer layer of the soap off and still use it 😂 but to each their own. It’s totally fair to be uncertain and just throw it out if that feels right to you

    3. I used to make soap and I learned that there is a phenomenon called “dreaded orange spots” that’s caused by using rancid oils in the soap making process. It looks like that could be it. It’s not toxic but it can potentially cause the soap to develop a rancid odour.
