My skin: early 40s, combo but more on the dry side no problematic skin but looking to hydrate and combat wrinkles, even out my skin. Consistently started Korean skin care in January, and it’s made a huge difference to my face, and I think it was the seven skin layers I was doing with my toner.
I’ve been using the Tony Moly wonder Mochi toner and it’s been great, which is why I’m really hesitant to change to a new toner but I’ve been wanting to try the glossy moist anti-ageing lotion.
Has anyone tried both Tony Moley and this brand? Wondering what your thoughts are! I’m still pretty new to understanding the important ingredients for hydration and anti-aging, so I screen kept the translated ingredients for the glossy moist. I also see placenta extract in here-is that common in Korean skin care? I see the niacinamide and ceramide, which I know is good for a skin barrier functions and hydration. Is there anything else in the ingredients that’s important to note?

I use both the high moist and this one, and this one definitely feels more like a serum than a toner/lotion. It’s quite thick and very nourishing – I can easily skip moisturizer and just use sunscreen when I’m applying this in the day (I have normal skin). I don’t think I’ll buy it again, as I prefer a light toner so I can layer it, however I do enjoy this one and will finish my bottle!
Edit to add: this is a Japanese product; placenta is in the original High Moist too
