Flower Knows Moonlight Mermaid Blush in #1 Snow Goddess

I won’t lie, this color is… Weird. I’m fairly light-skinned and even on me this is an odd color. Yeah yeah I know how C-beauty techniques work you don’t need to tell me, everyone knows by now lol but you’d need to lay down a *really* pale foundation for this to work. As in, lighter than most people’s actual skin color, which I feel is what a lot of people do from what I’ve seen both irl and online.

Still, even though this is not a natural color at all, I love fantasy colors so I kind of… Love this? I’ve been feeling like having my cheeks be literally lavender a lot this winter lol. I use the top part for brigthening the top/front of the cheeks, and the bottom part to gradient the bottom and sides. It gives a sort of fairytalish look, which is interesting. The powder is very very fine, it gives a nice matte, blurred look but if you overdo it, it sort of starts to look powdery and thick, so I disagree with a lot of people’s evaluations that this is “light but buildable!!!” – I have other Flower Knows blushes that I feel are more buildable than this.

I’ve had blushes for much longer that I haven’t remotely hit pan on, but I think 1. FK products tend to have not that much product (which can be nice!) 2. This blush in particular has a very very shallow pan, as you can see 3. The powder being so finely milled and… Powdery, means that you kick up a lot of product when you swirl your brush around, compared to more compact blushes where you barely make a dent.
