Only acids and exfoliants can cause purging; Second part of your question is very broad and differs dramatically between people
I haven’t tried that toner. But I’ve used that cleansing gel and the serum and I love them both. I have sensitive skin and I had no issues.
I have combination skin and the skin1004 ampoule worked great for me
Anything “exfoliating” (like the toner) can cause purging. There is probably acids in there like salicylic, glycolic, lactic, etc. to do the exfoliating. Any acids can cause purging.
I break out from everything and the toner didn’t cause me to break out. I’ve used it everyday for months.
