Reposting since I had a bit of trouble posting this last week but I recently did a haul of a few Cbeauty items I’ve had my eye on for a while and I’ve been so happy with what I’ve got ☺️ Now that the de minimis exemption is back, I hope everyone can still get access to Cbeauty because Chinese brands have been my favorite recently!

    Joocyee Bond of Love Palette

This is from their 2024 valentine’s day collection that’s still available for purchase. Joocyee eyeshadows will always be my favorite in cbeauty!! They’re always super buttery and more pigmented than most brands you find in the east. I was specifically looking for a grey toned palette in the same vein as Makeup By Mario Master Mattes or Huda Beauty’s Icy Nude to do a sexy smokey eye, but realized that most cool tones look awful on my skin tone 😭 This one is a bit warmer/neutral so it helps me achieve that look without being too ashy on my warmtoned skin. The palette comes with 6 mattes and 2 glitters. The mattes are just as soft, blendable, and pigmented as my other Joocyee palette. The glitter shadow in the middle gives more of a subtle scattered glitter effect (very similar to the moondust shadows by Urban Decay! super gorgeous in low light) while the bottom glitter is more of a super metallic and pigmented shadow. Really happy with the quality, shades, and variation of glitters here 🙂

Joocyee Multi-purpose Lip & Cheek Cream in C10 Salted Latte

I’ve been obsessed with low-saturation blushes lately but realized i only ever had powder ones so i figured i’d let myself buy a cream one as a treat LOL. This can be used as both a blush, a lip, and an eyeshadow. It’s a super blurring matte lip that fills in all my lip lines for a beautiful soft effect. Because it’s blurring, it is siliconey as you can tell in the swatch since it clumps just a bit when overapplied. This is manageable though and goes away after I blend it out with a lip brush or finger. I will say the silicones do take the cool factor out of the built in brush applicator, because the product sticks to itself/clumps so well it kinda just feels like a normal doefoot anyway haha! Really beautiful component though and a great product nonetheless.

Beinidar Airy Matte Lip Mud in W02 Emotional Freedom

My mother recently went on a trip to Shanghai and one of her favorite purchases was this lip mud. She came back with 20+ of them in this exact color and she’s now obsessed LOL. I think it’s an indie brand as they only have a few products out right now, but they do pretty well on taobao! The color is a bit too saturated and cool pink for my taste but i use it with a more neutral base color and as a blush! This is much more lightweight than the Joocyee cream cheek/lip and all the other lip muds I’ve tried. It still has that blurring silicone effect as it clumps just a bit in the swatch but much much less than others. It’s matte but not bone dry matte as it still has the slightestttt sheen. Super comfortable on the lips and the blurring effect is beautiful!! This also leaves a way more prominent tint than my other lip muds as well. Would love to give the other shades a chance as the formula is really one of my faves.

Girlcult Four Great Inventions Lip Glaze in M58 Brown Paper

This lip product has to be the star of the show! It’s become my new favorite lip formula everrr. It is absolutely gorgeous, lightweight, and ultra creamy. Minimal clumping (even more so than the Beinidar) but beautiful blurring!! The color is this extremely neutral greyish brown that was a bit intimidating at first but actually looks sooo gorgeous on. It’s really a sexy and alluring shade and works SOO well alone and as a base for my more saturated lip colors to blend into. The packaging is THE NICEST I’ve gotten in cbeauty lippies. It has heavy metal handle that just feels super luxurious and a smoked effect on frosted glass. I love their aesthetic so much! My only qualm with it has to be that it has a pretty prominent rose smell, which i personally don’t mind. I actually kind of love it, but some people might be scent-averse so keep that in mind.

Judydoll Ultrafine Liquid Eyeliner in 02 Deep Brown

I’ve had my eye on this eyeliner for so long since I’ve always loved the gorgeous lower lashes that Chinese girls on XHS made with this. When they say ultrafine they really mean it. It’s the SLIMMEST eyeliner tip I’ve ever seen. I’m still getting the hang of drawing lower lashes as there really is a steep learning curve to it 😩 But as a normal eyeliner this is nice! The tiny tip makes for super precise lines. I really wish I didn’t get the angled version though since I’m definitely more used to straight? eyeliners LOL I thought it was innovative and cool but it actually makes drawing lines less easy for me. My one issue is that it’s not that smudgeproof compared to Western or Korean eyeliners I’ve tried! I haven’t truly tested how waterproof it is but you can tell in the 4th photo that the liner is less pigmented after i rubbed it with a tissue than it was when I first applied it in the 3rd photo. I can’t imagine it’s very waterproof if it can’t handle a dry tissue LOL

Sorry for the long post! All of these items were purchased on Shein since the brands have official shops on their website. Again, really hope everyone gives these brands a try because cbeauty is great and super affordable! Also, Joocyee just came out with a beautiful oyster inspired collection and I’m itching to get my hands on it 🥲
