I needed a volumizing shampoo, and since I heard a lot of good reviews, I decided to give this one a try.

To get straight to the point, volume? 0.
Maybe there was a tiny bit of lift, but if there was, it was so subtle that I didn’t even notice.

The scent is really nice. Fruity? Floral?
It has a fresh, pleasant fragrance, but it’s not too strong.
After rinsing, it doesn’t leave a heavy lingering scent on the hair.
The lather is great too. Every Japanese shampoo I’ve tried so far has lathered really well.

This is my second time using a Japanese shampoo.
The first one I tried was Kanato Hane Treatment Shampoo when my hair was really damaged.
I’ve already finished it, but I was really happy with it.

Kanato had more foam, but Tsubaki smells better!

I like the smell of this but it doesn’t volumize. Also it makes my scalp itchy a day or so after use.
