    1. I think they’re usually based on what other people have purchased in addition to the products you’re looking at.

      I would hesitate to purchase your skincare like that specifically on Amazon, as you want to vet the sellers that your buying from to ensure that it’s a reputable seller (checking that it’s actually sold by the actual brand account, which is different from the store front) and not a third-party seller in order to weed out fake/counterfeit skincare.

    2. I don’t buy skincare on Amazon because I don’t trust that all of their products are authentic. Just search through any of the Asian beauty subs for the hundreds of posts asking if their Amazon purchased skincare is legit.
