I've been looking everywhere but can't find my answer! I ordered the Liese bubble foam hair dye as I'm looking for a more fail-proof way to dye my own hair at home and save money. However, I'm not trying to go lighter. I have naturally dark brown hair and want to go darker to black. I know that these products contain some type of bleaching agent because Asians usually use them to lighten their black hair, but I'm trying to go in reverse. If it's a "natural black" shade, then it feels like common sense that bleaching wouldn't be involved since it's the darkest color on the spectrum, but when I try to look at the ingredients list on various websites, there doesn't seem to be anything missing from the black dye list compared to their lighter colored ones. They seem to contain identical ingredients, which would mean the lightening agent is still included.

I know nothing about the hair dyeing process (have only gone darker to black a couple of times), so I apologize if I have any of my terms wrong. I didn't even know what ingredients to look out for when checking the list! Would I still be putting the damaging bleaching parts in my hair if I used a darker color of this dye? I mainly go black since it doesn't involve bleach and would cause less damage to my hair, so it'd be a bit counterintuitive if this brand still has those ingredients in their black shade.

This is the website I was trying to reference the ingredients list on: https://www.wcosmetics.com.au/products/kao-liese-prettia-bubble-hair-color-black
